Metropolitan Design Furniture wants everyone to be able to shop with us, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We are working to make metropolitandesignfurniture.com meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make websites easier to use for people with disabilities.

What we have done

• Added text descriptions to our product photos so screen readers can describe them.
• Made our menus and product image galleries work with a keyboard, not just a mouse.
• Reviewed our site theme for focus outlines, labels and page structure.

We review the site regularly and fix problems as we find them.

Known limitations

Some parts of our site come from outside providers, such as the fabric and product customization tools, reviews, financing and chat features. We do not fully control how these work, and some may not be fully accessible yet. We are working with these providers to improve them.

If any part of the site is hard to use, our team will help you directly. We can describe products, read you dimensions and fabric options, send swatches, and take your order by phone or email.
